In April 2009, our board member, Malusa Rios Powell visited the Amparo de Niñas Orphanage in Bogotá.
Malusa saw first hand how Teaching HOPE'S hard work and your donations have done so much for the orphanage. She attended a computer class in the computer lab that Teaching HOPE built, visited with the girls, met the English and computer teachers, and viewed the classroom where the English classes are being taught.
